PayPal & WCEC co-host event for Female Entrepreneurs

On Tuesday, May 7th, PayPal and the Women’s Center for Entrepreneurship Corporation co-hosted an event in Madison, NJ to engage and educate local female entrepreneurs. The event titled, “Digital Tools for Small Business” focused on helping the women business owners on learn how to fully take advantage of the opportunity that digital tools create for entrepreneurs. 

The event began with remarks from New Jersey Assemblywoman Mila Jasey who highlighted the importance of education being the foundation to creating more female-owned small businesses. Following the opening remarks, a panel of women business owners relayed their experiences in launching and growing their businesses. The panelists were able communicate the challenges that can be unique to female entrepreneurs and the ways they were able to persevere to succeed.

PayPal’s marketing team was also able to present during the event, showcasing the ways that PayPal is crafting its products and partnerships to better support small businesses in a wholistic way. The presentation gave an overview of the Business in a Box solution that is tailored to assist entrepreneurs of any size manage the various parts of their small business.
